International oil prices fell on July 31. As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for September delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by 74 cents to close at US$69.26 per barrel, a drop of 1.06%; the price of London Brent crude oil futures for September delivery fell by 71 cents to close at US$72.53 per barrel, a drop of 0.97%.
