Jay Chou's concerts have driven over 1.1 billion yuan in consumption, with every 1 yuan spent on concert tickets driving 4.8 yuan in spending. As the performance market continues to boom, the heat of concerts is radiating. From the bustling business districts near the venues to the hard-to-find rooms in nearby hotels, concerts, music festivals, and other entertainment activities are driving diversified consumption in cities. Data released by the China Performing Arts Industry Association shows that concerts drive local consumption at a ratio of 1:4.8, meaning that for every 1 yuan spent on concert tickets, surrounding consumption during the same period is 4.8 yuan. In March of this year, Daolang's Wuhan concert drove a fourfold month-on-month increase in hotel bookings around the Wuhan Sports Center. At Jay Chou's Sanya concert, 82% of the audience were from outside the island, driving overall consumption exceeding 1.1 billion yuan. (CCTV Finance)
