Marubeni Global Pharma and Sumitomo Pharma of Japan successfully completed the first phase of business transfer. On August 1, Sumitomo Pharma announced that the divestiture of related assets and equity and the first phase of equity transfer have been successfully completed. The former Sumitomo Pharma China has become independent from Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. and officially became a member of the Marubeni Group.
