Russia's July Manufacturing PMI saw its largest contraction in over three years. (1) Russia's manufacturing PMI fell to 47.0 in July (from 47.5 previously), marking the second consecutive month of contraction and the largest drop since March 2022. New orders declined for four consecutive months, with the fastest decline since March 2022, and output contracted at its sharpest pace in three years. (2) Input cost inflation slowed, with output price growth hitting its lowest level since November 2022. Business confidence fell to its lowest level in nearly three years.
