Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index Slightly Rises on August 1st: (1) The Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index (200) was reported at 113.09 on August 1st (up 0.17 points from the previous day), and the "vegetable basket" product wholesale price index was reported at 113.14 (up 0.19 points). The average price of pork was 20.60 yuan/kg (up 0.7%), eggs were 7.72 yuan/kg (up 0.5%), and the average price of 28 types of vegetables was 4.43 yuan/kg (up 0.5%). (2) The top five price increases were: lettuce (up 4.0%), cabbage (up 3.8%), and cauliflower (up 2.9%). The top five price decreases were: crucian carp (down 1.7%), green onions (down 1.7%), and white-striped chicken (down 1.2%).
