The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released data showing that software product revenue reached 1,544.1 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%, accounting for 21.9% of the industry's total revenue. Of this total, basic software product revenue reached 90.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%, while industrial software product revenue reached 144.5 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%. Information technology service revenue reached 4,836.2 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, accounting for 68.5% of the industry's total revenue. Of this, cloud computing and big data services generated a total revenue of 743.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%, accounting for 15.4% of information technology service revenue. Integrated circuit design revenue reached 202.2 billion yuan, an increase of 18.8% year-on-year, and e-commerce platform technology service revenue reached 588.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%.
