Austria's unemployment rate rose to 6.7% in July. (1) Austria's unemployment rate rose by 0.3 percentage points year-on-year to 6.7% in July 2025. The number of unemployed people increased by 15,000 to 290,000, a month-on-month increase of 1,400. (2) The unemployment rate for women was 6.6% (up 0.3 percentage points), and for men it was 6.8% (up 0.3 percentage points). A total of 359,400 people were registered as unemployed or in training that month.
