(3) The employment index (48.6 vs. 49.6), total order volume (45.6 vs. 48.0), and export conditions (44.3 vs. 48.4) continued to deteriorate, while investment confidence weakened (50.6 vs. 52.0). (4) The output cost index rose slightly to 44.6, indicating a slight increase in cost pressures in the industry. (5) The forward-looking three-month business expectations index fell from 49.5 to 47.9, reaching its lowest level since August 2021.
