[National Bureau of Statistics: We must increase efforts in data release and interpretation, and strengthen interpretation of economic hot spots and issues of public concern] On August 1st, the Party Leadership Group of the National Bureau of Statistics held an expanded meeting. The meeting emphasized that statistical departments must truly strengthen their sense of responsibility and urgency in carrying out economic work in the second half of the year, do a solid job in producing statistical data, strengthen the foundation of data quality, and accurately reflect economic trends. We must strengthen economic monitoring and analysis, deeply tap into the advantages of a rich set of statistical information indicators, including aggregate, structural, and categorized indicators, and continuously improve the scientific and predictive nature of economic analysis and judgment. We must increase efforts in data release and interpretation, strengthen interpretation of economic hot spots and issues of public concern, and explain the effectiveness of macroeconomic policy implementation from multiple perspectives.
