Alumina Futures Main Contract Falls 2.86%, Net Short Position Continues to Expand. ⑴ The main alumina futures contract 2509 closed down 2.86%, with a trading volume of 275,300 lots. The top 20 traders held a net short position of 11,214 lots. ⑵ Total trading volume for all contracts was 419,700 lots, down 128,200 lots from the previous day. ⑶ The top 20 traders held a long position of 177,200 lots, an increase of 4,622 lots; their short position was 210,200 lots, an increase of 8,766 lots.
