Mexico's Manufacturing Confidence Index remains below the boom-bust line for five consecutive months. (1) Mexico's manufacturing business confidence index rose slightly to 49.4 in July (revised down to 49.2 in June), remaining below the 50-point mark for the fifth consecutive month. (2) Investment intentions improved slightly to 38.2, while the assessment of the overall national situation rose slightly to 48.6. (3) Businesses' assessment of the current situation fell to 51.1, while future outlook expectations dipped slightly to 56.6. The domestic economic confidence index dipped slightly to 52.5.
