On August 1, local time, in his regular evening video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready to act swiftly to achieve peace and insisted on holding a meeting at the highest level of leadership. He said, "Ukraine is willing to advance the peace process as quickly as possible. We are clear about the steps that should be taken and who in Russia can make the decisions.
