[Ministry of Natural Resources activates Level IV geological disaster prevention response in Guangdong and five other provinces and regions] Meteorological forecasts predict heavy rainfall in parts of Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Gansu, and Qinghai over the next three days. The Ministry of Natural Resources' Geological Disaster Technical Guidance Center has determined that the risk of geological disasters is high in parts of central and western Guangdong, eastern Guangxi, western Yunnan, central Gansu, and eastern Qinghai. In accordance with the "Ministry of Natural Resources Geological Disaster Prevention and Response Work Plan," the Ministry of Natural Resources activated a Level IV geological disaster prevention response at 10:00 on August 2nd.
