The Baotou-Huizhou section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway has begun joint commissioning and testing, with plans to open for operation this year. At 1:10 PM today, with the departure of test train No. 55101 from Baotou Station, the joint commissioning and testing work for the Baotou-Huizhou section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway, from Baotou, Inner Mongolia, to Huinong, Ningxia, officially began, entering the critical phase of project acceptance. The Baotou-Huizhou section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway is scheduled to open for operation this year, filling a gap in the high-speed rail network in Northwest China. Upon completion, the travel time between Baotou and Yinchuan will be reduced from a maximum of six hours to under three hours, making it the most convenient route to Beijing in Northwest China.
