On July 31st, Foshan Metro released a mosquito prevention guide on its official WeChat account, clearly outlining the amount of mosquito repellent that passengers can carry on the subway. According to the guide, to ensure safety, passengers carrying mosquito repellents (aerosols), such as toilet water and mosquito repellent spray, must limit each bottle to no more than 700 ml, with a maximum of five bottles per person. There are no restrictions on non-aerosol items such as electric mosquito coils and mosquito coils. In addition to the restrictions on carry-on items, the guide also recommends wearing light-colored, long-sleeved clothing to reduce the risk of mosquito bites.
