[Chinese and Uzbek airlines sign a memorandum of understanding to jointly chart a new blueprint for the "Air Silk Road"] China Southern Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways, Uzbekistan's national airline, recently officially signed a memorandum of understanding. The two parties will focus on "network interconnection, resource complementarity, and service upgrades," integrating and complementing their advantageous resources to meet the rapidly growing business and tourism travel needs between the two countries. According to the memorandum, the two sides will focus on in-depth cooperation in four major areas: intermodal transport and code-sharing, air cargo, third-party business, and passenger services.
