Czech Republic's Current Account Deficit Widens in July: (1) The Czech Republic's current account deficit widened to 14.94 billion crowns in July 2025, compared to 6.87 billion crowns in the same period last year, slightly lower than the market expectation of a deficit of 15 billion crowns. (2) This marked the third consecutive month of worsening current account deficits. (3) The primary revenue deficit widened to 26.58 billion crowns from 21.5 billion crowns in July 2024. (4) The secondary revenue deficit increased from 1.8 billion crowns to 6.5 billion crowns. (5) The goods surplus increased from 8.55 billion crowns to 9.44 billion crowns. (6) The services surplus increased from 7.88 billion crowns to 8.69 billion crowns.
