[Fujian Benz Recalls Certain Imported Viano and Vito Vehicles] ⑴ Fujian Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting September 30, 2025, it will recall certain imported Viano and Vito vehicles manufactured between February 4, 2004, and December 13, 2005, totaling 1,107 vehicles. ⑵ Vehicles covered by the recall have had their driver's front airbag replaced, potentially involving a Takata ammonium nitrate inflator without a desiccant. ⑶ After extended use, if the airbag deploys in a collision, the inflator may be damaged, causing fragments to fly, posing a safety hazard that could injure vehicle occupants. ⑷ Authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers will inspect the recalled vehicles free of charge and, based on the results, replace the driver's front airbag with an improved one to eliminate the hazard. ⑸ This recall, numbered S2025M0140V, is being implemented in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and its implementing measures.
