[CATL releases NP3.0 battery safety technology at the Munich Motor Show] Recently, at the 2025 Munich Motor Show (IAA MOBILITY 2025), CATL released NP3.0 technology. Supported by eight major technologies including flame-retardant electrolyte, nano-dot-coated positive electrode materials, and aerogel insulation pads, this technology jointly constructs a "safety iron triangle" from three levels: chemical system, structure, and system. In emergency situations at high speeds, it ensures that the vehicle is in a controllable state, giving the driver sufficient control and reaction space to calmly drive away from dangerous areas, thereby improving the active safety capabilities during driving.
