[Zhejiang: Actively Promoting High-Quality Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry] On the morning of September 12th, the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held an expert consultation meeting to discuss the topic of "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry." Lian Yimin, Chairman of the CPPCC, presided over the meeting. The head of the CPPCC's Economic Committee reported on their preliminary research, and several CPPCC members, academicians, experts, and business representatives shared their views. The meeting agreed that it is necessary to strengthen top-level design, enhance planning guidance, and improve supporting policies to promote the development of the entire hydrogen energy supply chain: production, storage, transmission, and utilization. The standards system should be improved to increase the effective supply of standards, and the development of a public service platform for hydrogen energy product inspection, testing, and certification should be promoted. Key core technologies should be enhanced, and appropriate technological approaches should be selected to continuously advance the research and development of basic materials, key equipment, and innovative processes in the hydrogen energy sector. The development of high-level scientific and technological innovation platforms should be deepened to accelerate the aggregation of innovative elements such as talent, technology, and capital, and optimize the mechanism for the transformation and application of hydrogen energy innovation achievements. The layout of the hydrogen energy industry should be coordinated to accelerate the construction of a safe, stable, and efficient hydrogen energy supply network. Support should be provided for the development and growth of leading hydrogen energy enterprises, promote collaborative innovation among large, medium, and small enterprises, identify niche markets, and guide the concentrated development of the hydrogen energy industry. Steadily promote the diversified demonstration and application of hydrogen energy, accelerate the exploration and formation of commercial paths for the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and expand the application of hydrogen energy in transportation, energy storage, distributed power generation, industry and other fields.
