According to the data released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance on September 11, in August, my country's power battery installed capacity reached 62.5GWh, of which lithium iron phosphate battery installed capacity was 51.6GWh, accounting for 82.5% of the total installed capacity, a month-on-month increase of 14.8% and a year-on-year increase of 47.3%; the installed capacity of ternary batteries was 10.9GWh, accounting for 17.5% of the total installed capacity, a month-on-month decrease of 0.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 10.0%. From the situation within the year, the proportion of lithium iron phosphate battery installed capacity increased from 77.9% in January 2025 to 82.5% in August, an increase of more than 4 percentage points.
