[National Energy Administration: Soliciting Opinions on the Measures for Data Security Management in the Energy Industry] To implement the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on data security, standardize data processing activities in the energy industry, strengthen data security management, prevent data security risks, and promote data development and utilization, the National Energy Administration has compiled the "Measures for Data Security Management in the Energy Industry (Trial Implementation) (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)" in accordance with the "Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China," "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China," "Energy Law of the People's Republic of China," "Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China," "Regulations on Network Data Security Management," and other laws and regulations. The draft is now open for public comment. The supporting systems, standards, and specifications involved in the draft will be formulated and issued separately. (National Energy Administration)
