Munich Motor Show Held in Munich, Chinese Exhibitors Ranked First. On September 8, 2025, the biennial International Automotive and Smart Mobility Exhibition (IAA, hereinafter referred to as the "Munich Motor Show") opened in Munich. This year's show, themed "IT'S ALL ABOUT MOBILITY," focused on trends and developments in smart mobility. Unlike the 2023 IAA, where multinational automakers showcased initial results of their electrification transformation, the 2025 Munich Motor Show saw multinational automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen, unveil production vehicles based on new pure electric platforms, ushering in a new era of electric intelligence. Furthermore, in this new phase of global expansion across the entire industry chain, Chinese companies across the entire supply chain, including those involved in vehicle development, electric vehicles, and smart technology, actively showcased new products and technologies at the show. Data from the German Association of the Automotive Industry indicates that 748 exhibitors participated. Among the 423 overseas exhibitors, Chinese exhibitors ranked first, with a total of 116 complete vehicles, parts and related companies participating in the exhibition.
