[China Cell and Gene Therapy Alliance Established] On September 12th, the China Cell and Gene Therapy Conference (CSGCT) opened, co-hosted by the Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee and the CSGCT China Cell and Gene Therapy Alliance. At the conference, the "Blue Book on China's Cell and Gene Therapy Industry Development and Regulatory Policy Interpretation" was released, providing an authoritative reference for dialogue between industry and regulators and helping to promote the development of four core technology areas: CGT, multi-omics and precision medicine, brain-computer interfaces, and AI-powered healthcare. In addition, the China Cell and Gene Therapy Alliance was also established on the occasion. The alliance will comprehensively plan policy support, academic research, clinical trials, industry implementation, international cooperation, talent development, and public education. The alliance is committed to addressing the current common challenges facing the Chinese CGT industry, accelerating the integration of Chinese CGT products into the global consumer market, and promoting China's gene and cell therapy technological innovation and industrial development to global advanced levels.
