The Beijing Stock Exchange (BEIJING) recently announced that it will implement new securities codes for existing stocks starting October 9th. Investors will use the new codes for all trading orders and can check the official website for a comparison of the old and new codes. This marks the beginning of the "920 Code Era" for the BEIJING Stock Exchange. Industry insiders believe that the unified code system will further clarify the BEIJING Stock Exchange's market position, improve the recognition of listed companies, and facilitate the development of the BEIJING Stock Exchange's thematic ETFs. BEIJING ETFs are currently under development. If the relevant policies are implemented this year and the products are launched early next year, it will be in line with market expectations.
