Overview of the Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (CNY HIBOR) and its changes: According to Huitong Finance, the CNY HIBOR interest rate changes for each period on September 15, 2025 are shown in the table: 3 periods saw an increase, 5 periods saw a decrease, and 1 period saw no change. The largest change was in the overnight CNY Hibor rate: an increase of 20 basis points. As the updated data in the figure shows, the overnight onshore CNY HIBOR was at 1.38%, up 20 basis points; the 1-week rate was at 1.40%, down 4 basis points; the 2-week rate was at 1.48%, unchanged; the 1-month rate was at 1.63%, down 1 basis point; the 2-month rate was at 1.66%, down 1 basis point; the 3-month rate was at 1.73%, down 1 basis point; the 6-month rate was at 1.82%, up 3 basis points; the 9-month rate was at 1.87%, up 1 basis point; and the 1-year onshore CNY HIBOR was at 1.91%, down 2 basis points.
