The National Bureau of Statistics: From January to August, the national online retail sales reached 9,982.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods reached 8,096.4 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4%, accounting for 25.0% of the total retail sales of consumer goods; among the online retail sales of physical goods, food, clothing, and daily necessities increased by 15.0%, 2.4%, and 5.7% respectively.
