The French Ministry of Agriculture has raised its 2025 soft wheat production forecast to 33.3 million tons. (2) The 2025 barley production forecast remained at 12 million tons, unchanged from the previous month. (3) The corn (including seed) production forecast was lowered to 13.6 million tons, down from the 13.9 million tons forecast last month and a 7.8% decrease from the same period last year. (4) Sugar beet production was estimated at 31.8 million tons, down 2.3% from 32.5 million tons in 2024. (5) The rapeseed production forecast was raised to 4.6 million tons, up from the 4.5 million tons forecast last month. (6) The sunflower seed production forecast was lowered to 1.5 million tons, down from the 1.6 million tons forecast last month.
