[John Lee: Promote the realization of cross-border flow of data from the Mainland to the Hetao Hong Kong Park] Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee delivered a new policy address in the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (17th). John Lee said that Hong Kong will give full play to the advantages of "one country, two systems" to promote the early realization of cross-border flow of data from the Mainland to the Hetao Hong Kong Park for scientific research under compliance and security guarantees, to help AI application testing and innovation. In addition, following the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Center in Cyberport and the launch of the "Artificial Intelligence Funding Program" by the SAR government, approximately 10 hectares of data park development land in Shaling, North District will be put on the market for bidding this year to provide advanced computing facilities and promote the development of data and AI-related industries.
