[John Lee: Hong Kong will implement an annual review of the minimum wage] Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee delivered a new policy address in the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (17th). John Lee said that the SAR government has agreed to the Minimum Wage Committee's proposal to adopt a new "formula" mechanism to implement an "annual review" of the statutory minimum wage. The first statutory minimum wage level derived from the new mechanism is expected to take effect on May 1, 2026.
