[General Administration of Customs: Trade Quality Index Continues to Rise] The superposition of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) has effectively promoted industrial chain and supply chain cooperation within the China-ASEAN region and improved the level of trade liberalization and facilitation. Since the RCEP fully came into effect for the signatory countries in 2023, the trade quality index has increased for two consecutive years, increasing by 0.48 to 105.45 in 2024.
