The Central Bank of Ireland stated that the possibility of further escalation in global trade tensions poses downside risks to the current economic growth forecast. The forecast for housing completions in 2025 remains unchanged at 32,500 units; the forecast for 2026 has been revised from 37,500 to 36,000 units; and the forecast for 2027 has been revised from 41,500 to 40,000 units. GDP is forecast to grow by 10.1% in 2025 (previously 9.7%), 3.8% in 2026 (previously 2.7%), and 4.2% in 2027. The 15% tariff is not expected to lead to a "significant" decline in US investment.
