[Institution: The Fed's October rate cut does not necessarily mean a December rate cut] According to Kevin Burgett, an economist at LH Meyer/Monetary Policy Analytics, the Fed will cut interest rates by another 25 basis points in October. He said an October rate cut "is the path of least resistance." Burgett said that whether there will be a rate cut in December is more difficult to judge.
