[A World War II-era shipwreck has leaked fuel in waters near the Federated States of Micronesia] Reporters have learned that Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia declared a state of emergency on September 15th local time due to a fuel leak from a World War II-era shipwreck. The Chuuk Governor's Office stated that on September 11th, local divers discovered a fuel leak from the WWII-era Japanese shipwreck, the Rio de Janeiro Maru, while diving near the vessel.
