[HKEX and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange sign a memorandum of understanding to strengthen market ties between the two places] Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange in the United Arab Emirates to explore opportunities for cooperation in the two capital markets and strengthen ties between the two sides. According to the memorandum of understanding, HKEX will explore cooperation with Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange in market promotion, exchange-traded funds, ESG (environmental, social and governance) related products, cross-listing and other areas of common concern, and work together to implement the commitment of both parties to build a more closely integrated global financial ecosystem. HKEX is committed to deepening cooperation with investors and stakeholders in the Middle East, and last year it included Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Dubai Financial Market in its list of authorized stock exchanges.
