[International Oil and Gas Pipeline Terminology Standard Officially Released] ⑴ The international standard "Terminology for Pipeline Transportation Systems in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry (Including Low-Carbon Energy)" developed under the leadership of my country has been officially released and implemented. This standard took five years to develop, with the participation of an international working group consisting of 38 experts from 13 countries. During this period, a "domestic-international" coordination mechanism was established, 21 domestic and international expert seminars were held, and 25 rounds of text iterations were completed, ultimately forming a rigorously structured and comprehensive standard system. ⑵ The implementation of this standard will provide a unified communication framework for the global oil and gas pipeline industry, significantly reducing the communication costs and technical barriers caused by terminology differences, and laying a solid foundation for international cooperation. At the same time, this standard is expected to support the interconnection and efficient operation of cross-border energy infrastructure, further promoting energy trade security and regional economic integration and development.
