[National Energy Administration Releases National Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Data for August 2025] On September 18, the National Energy Administration released national electric vehicle charging facility data for August. By the end of August 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (pile) in my country reached 17.348 million, a year-on-year increase of 53.5%. Of these, 4.316 million were public charging facilities, a year-on-year increase of 37.8%, with a total rated power of 196 million kilowatts, with an average power of approximately 45.48 kilowatts. There were 13.032 million private charging facilities, a year-on-year increase of 59.6%, with a registered power capacity of 115 million kilowatts.
