Guangdong Province Releases Three-Year Action Plan for Empowering Manufacturing with Artificial Intelligence (⑴) The General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government issued the "Guangdong Province Action Plan for Empowering High-Quality Development of Manufacturing with Artificial Intelligence (2025-2027)." (⑵) The plan proposes supporting enterprises in utilizing Shaoguan's data center cluster and computing infrastructure in various cities to train and develop industrial models. (⑶) Financial support will be provided to eligible enterprises through policy tools such as computing power vouchers and training power vouchers to reduce computing power costs. (⑷) Support will be provided to industrial enterprises, telecom operators, and communications equipment companies in building edge data centers. (⑸) The plan will promote intelligent upgrades to edge devices, deploying lightweight computing modules in sensing equipment, production equipment, control units, and unmanned transport vehicles. (⑹) The plan will enable comprehensive computing power applications in multiple scenarios, including industrial cloud training, edge inference, and edge sensing.
