UK government bond prices fell in late European trading. At the close of European trading on Tuesday (October 28), the UK 10-year government bond yield rose 0.1 basis points to 4.402%. It fluctuated low for most of the day, hitting a new low of 4.369% at 5:11 PM Beijing time, before experiencing a significant surge at 00:00 AM. The two-year government bond yield fell 0.5 basis points to 3.776%, briefly turning positive. The 30-year government bond yield fell 0.5 basis points, while the 50-year government bond yield rose 0.1 basis points. The 2-year/10-year government bond yield spread rose 0.661 basis points to +62.529 basis points.
