[2025 APEC CEO Summit Opens] On October 29th local time, the 2025 APEC CEO Summit opened in Gyeongju, South Korea. The theme of this summit is "Bridge, Business, Beyond". 20 thematic meetings will be held to discuss topics such as regional economic integration, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, and sustainability. It is reported that more than 1,700 people will attend the summit. APEC was established in 1989 and currently has 21 members. It is the highest-level, most extensive and most influential economic cooperation mechanism in the Asia-Pacific region.
