[China Marine Economy Development Report 2025 Released] Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Natural Resources released the "China Marine Economy Development Report 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). The Report summarizes the development of the national and coastal marine economy in 2024. Over the past year, breakthroughs have been achieved in various aspects of the marine economy. The national gross marine product reached 10.5 trillion yuan, the scale of the marine economy continued to expand, the marine industrial structure accelerated its adjustment, the marine science and technology innovation capability was significantly enhanced, the level of intensive and economical utilization of marine resources continued to improve, and effective work was achieved in marine ecological protection, restoration, and early warning monitoring. Furthermore, the opening up and cooperation of the marine economy with foreign countries continued to deepen.
