[5GAA and IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group Renew Cooperation Memorandum in Shanghai] On October 22, 2025, the 5G Automotive Alliance (5GAA) and the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Shanghai, China. Christof Schmidt, Chairman of the 5GAA Board of Directors, and Wang Zhiqin, Head of the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group, signed the agreement as representatives of both parties. This renewal signifies the continued deepening of cooperation between the two sides in promoting the global commercialization of 5G and C-V2X vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies and industries.
