[State Administration of Foreign Exchange: Encouraging More New Trade Entities to Be Included in Facilitation Policies] The State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) issued a notice on further facilitating foreign exchange settlement and supporting the stable development of foreign trade. The notice encourages including more new trade entities within the scope of facilitation policies. It supports prudent and compliant banks in including honest and trustworthy cross-border e-commerce platforms and foreign trade comprehensive service enterprises with good compliant operations, as well as their recommended trustworthy clients, in trade facilitation policies or high-level opening-up pilot programs. When handling foreign exchange receipts and payments related to cross-border e-commerce, market procurement trade, and foreign trade comprehensive services, banks should indicate "cross-border e-commerce," "market procurement trade," or "foreign trade comprehensive services" in the transaction remarks of their foreign exchange receipts and payments declarations.
