Glencore: On track to meet 2025 production targets. Mining giant Glencore said it is on track to meet its full-year production targets, attempting to prove it is overcoming its reputation for operational setbacks. Glencore has repeatedly missed or lowered its targets since its 2011 IPO, frustrating some investors. The company said on Thursday that it is on track to meet its targets this year, although copper prices are trending towards the lower end of the target range. However, the company did not provide an update on its 2026 targets. Anglo American, which co-owns the Collahuasi copper mine in Chile with Glencore, said on Tuesday that it is reassessing its 2026 production targets in Chile due to problems at the mine.
