[National Electricity Market Transaction Volume Grew Steadily in September 2025] ⑴ Data from the National Energy Administration shows that in September 2025, the national electricity market completed 573.2 billion kWh of transactions, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%. ⑵ In terms of transaction scope, intra-provincial transactions totaled 430.3 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%; inter-provincial and inter-regional transactions totaled 142.9 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%. ⑶ In terms of transaction types, medium- and long-term transactions totaled 533.1 billion kWh; spot transactions totaled 40.1 billion kWh. ⑷ Green electricity transactions totaled 29 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%. ⑸ From January to September 2025, the national cumulative electricity market transaction volume reached 4,923.9 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%. ⑹ In the first nine months, electricity market transactions accounted for 63.4% of total social electricity consumption, an increase of 1.4 percentage points year-on-year.
