On October 29, CCTV reporters learned that US President Trump stated that he had failed to coordinate a meeting time with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. That day, during a bilateral meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung at the Gyeongju National Museum, Trump said, "I know Kim Jong Un very well, we get along very well. It's just that we haven't been able to coordinate a meeting time." Previously, Trump had expressed his desire to meet.
