[Slovakian Industrial Confidence Falls to Over Two-Year Low in October] ⑴ Slovakia's industrial confidence index for October 2025 fell 6.6 points to -10.3, the lowest level since July 2023. ⑵ The expected production index plummeted to -10, down from 12 previously, with the automotive, trailer, semi-trailer, and other transport equipment manufacturing industries experiencing particularly significant declines. ⑶ The timber, paper, printing, and reproduction industries also performed weakly, with current order levels continuing to fall to -22. ⑷ The machinery and equipment and basic metals and metal products manufacturing industries saw the most significant decline in orders. ⑸ Selling price expectations weakened further to 7, and the employment outlook also deteriorated to -3.
