[Iceland's October Inflation Rate Rises to Nine-Month High] ⑴ Iceland's annual inflation rate rose slightly to 4.3% in October 2025 from 4.1% in September, the highest level since January. ⑵ Housing and utility prices accelerated to 7.1%, while alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices rose 5.8%. ⑶ Healthcare prices rose 3%, and entertainment and cultural prices rose 3.4%. ⑷ Clothing, footwear, and household goods prices rebounded to increases of 0.2% and 1.3% respectively. ⑸ Food and non-alcoholic beverage prices slowed to 5.8%, while transportation and communication prices both rose 0.8%. ⑹ Hotel, cafe, and restaurant prices fell to 4.7%, and miscellaneous goods and services prices slightly decreased to 4.2%. ⑺ Education prices remained unchanged at 2.4%. ⑻ Seasonally adjusted, consumer prices rose 0.5% month-on-month in October, a four-month high.
