[Turkey Lightning Purchase of 250,000 Tons of Feed Barley at a Low of $245.8 Per Ton] ⑴ European traders revealed on Thursday that Turkey's State Grain Agency (TMO) purchased approximately 250,000 tons of animal feed barley in an international tender, with the transaction occurring in multiple batches. ⑵ Of this, approximately 25,000 tons were won by Tarimex at a CIF price of $245.8 per ton, the lowest CIF price in this tender. ⑶ Traders cautioned that the TMO tender was a provisional transaction and still requires final confirmation in the coming days. The agency reserves the right to cancel the entire purchase, and subsequent volume and price adjustments are still possible.
