[Qinghai Ranks First in China for Both Clean Energy and New Energy Installed Capacity as of the End of September] As of the end of September this year, Qinghai Province's total installed power capacity reached 77.285 million kilowatts, of which clean energy accounted for 72.514 million kilowatts (93.8%) and new energy accounted for 55.842 million kilowatts (72.3%), both ranking first in the country. Qinghai is also actively promoting the large-scale development of solar thermal power, making it a key development direction. Its installed capacity of completed and operational solar thermal power plants ranks second in the country. Currently, Qinghai has 1.65 million kilowatts of solar thermal projects under construction, accounting for 59% of the national total and 58% of the global total. Furthermore, the development of the clean energy industry has significantly boosted employment and income.
